The Griffins: Canberra to Castlecrag
Tour dates: Thursday April 30 to Sunday May 3, 2026 | 4 Days
A unique four-day journey developed in collaboration with Canberra Modern and Academy Travel tracing the architectural and design legacy of Walter and Marion from Canberra’s Garden City vision to Castlecrag’s “ideal suburb.”

Highlights will include curator-led viewings of rare archival material, visits to Griffin-designed homes, and expert commentary from Griffin scholars exploring the couple’s creative partnership and enduring influence on Australian design.

• the Robin Boyd house for a presentation by Professor Philip Goad
• the Griffin designed Eaglemont Estate with “Pholiota” and the Lippincott House
